Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a part-time Meat Cutter/Butcher in Manahawkin, NJ. You will cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and prepared meats per standards, assist in deli and seafood areas as needed, and maintain strict sanitation.

This role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and benefits including health options and 401(k). Minimum 18 years old with training/apprenticeship and meat-cutting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Cuts, grinds, weighs, packages, wraps, and labels meat to company standards.
• Maintains appropriate inventory and ensures cases are stocked.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and displays in the meat department.
• Follows safety and sanitation standards and assists in related areas as needed.
