Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Ocean Township, NJ, is seeking a full-time Meat Cutter. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including grinds, and merchandise in seafood and deli areas to serve Members efficiently.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making meat recommendations.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat cases, inventories, and rotates by expiry dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and display areas daily.
