Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in Northborough, MA is seeking a full-time Meat Cutter. The role involves receiving, cutting, wrapping and merchandising fresh and processed meats, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting members with product recommendations.

A $1000 sign-on bonus is offered and weekly pay is provided. Ideal candidates have meat cutting experience, complete a training/apprenticeship, and are at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Meat cutters require completion of a training program or apprenticeship.
• Meat cutting experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations on meat, poultry and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, wraps, and labels meat portions.
• Maintains meat cases and rotates inventory according to expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and display fixtures in the meat department.
• Receives and inspects delivered meats and stores them properly.
