Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a full-time Meat Cutter in Springfield, PA. This role requires prior meat cutting experience and completion of a training program or apprenticeship. You will cut, grind, and wrap meats, ensure proper labeling, and maintain sanitation standards.

As part of a team focused on member service, you will assist with recommended cuts, stock meat cases, and support department operations. A $1000 sign-on bonus is offered, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and provides assistance to Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards; weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains the meat department sanitation and safety standards; ensures cases are stocked and rotated per expiration dates.
