Peralta Community College District seeks qualified Part-Time Faculty to deliver engaging, inclusive instruction and support student learning in alignment with the district's mission of advancing equity, student success, and academic excellence.

Assignments are made on an as-needed basis and may include day, evening, weekend, online, or hybrid classes at any of the District's colleges, with a focus on diverse backgrounds and evidence-based teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Masters in mathematics or applied mathematics or
• Bachelors in mathematics or applied mathematics and a Masters in statistics, physics or mathematics education
• Ability to teach and support diverse student backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved outlines and outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction.
• Develop and maintain course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate records.
• Submit grades by established deadlines.
• Create an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
