Qualifications

• Master’s degree in TESL, TESOL, or related emphasis with acceptable alternatives
• Bachelor’s degree in TESL/TESOL or English with TESL certificate and Master’s in linguistics/English/education
• Equivalency may be considered via formal process and documentation

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses per outlines and learner outcomes
• Deliver engaging, inclusive instruction using evidence-based practices
• Develop syllabi, materials, assignments, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance and maintain records
• Submit grades by deadlines
• Communicate regularly with students and respond to inquiries
• Utilize LMS and instructional tech effectively
• Comply with policies, contracts, accreditation, and regulations
• Participate in department meetings and professional development
