Job summary

Ampact is seeking Math Corps tutors to work in Minnesota schools, delivering math practice to small groups during school hours. You will be trained to run engaging activities and coach students toward improved skills and confidence.

You will lead 20–30 minute sessions, track progress, and collaborate with an on-site coach. This AmeriCorps role offers hours, stipends, and education benefits for eligible participants.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for student support.
• Track student progress and meet with onsite coach regularly.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
