Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps program is seeking a Math Tutor to work in a Minnesota school. You will tutor groups of up to three students for 20-30 minutes, guiding them through math activities and tracking progress in a supportive, encouraging environment.

This AmeriCorps role runs for the 2026-27 school year, with 35 hours per week, daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Part-time options are available as well.

Qualifications

• Fluent English for speaking, reading and writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to complete a background check.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Dependable with good attendance and reliability.
• Basic email and online navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions for groups of up to three students.
• Follow a school schedule to ensure consistent support.
• Track student progress and coordinate with on-site coach.
• Record scores in data software and communicate results.
• Pursue growth through coaching and training.
• Share experience with the community.
