• Associates Degree with significant coursework in math, statistics, or a related field.
• Thorough knowledge of the subject to be tutored.
• Experience teaching or tutoring in a higher education setting or related work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; patience and multitasking ability.
• Basic computing skills and ability to use a graphing calculator.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in math (various levels) and basic statistics.
• Occasional data entry, record keeping, customer service, and general office duties.
• Provide a positive learning environment for students.
• Implement and enforce college policies and laboratory guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by the TC Coordinator.
