Job summary

AoPS Academy invites applications for a Part-Time Math Instructor at our Saratoga, CA campus. Teach advanced math using company-created curricula to small groups, typically up to 16 students, with after-school hours including weekday evenings and weekends.

Classes meet weekly for 1 hour 45 minutes, with a minimum commitment of about 3 hours per week per class. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, has strong math content knowledge, and prior teaching or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging curriculum using AoPS materials.
• Engage students actively in each class.
• Manage up to 16 students in small classes.
• Grade and provide feedback on tests.
