Job summary

AoPS Academy is seeking a part-time Math Instructor for its Fremont, CA campus. You will teach advanced math using company materials to small classes, actively engage students, and manage classrooms up to 16 learners.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (STEM/education preferred) and have prior teaching or tutoring experience. No teaching credential required; evening and weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students.
• Engage students and involve them in each class.
• Manage classrooms with up to 16 students.
• Grade and provide feedback on tests.
• Build relationships with students and families to impact their educational journey.
• Inspire learning and critical thinking in math.
