Job summary

AoPS Academy in San Mateo is seeking a Part-Time Math Instructor to teach engaging curriculum to advanced students in small classes. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, strong math knowledge, and prior teaching or tutoring experience.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or educational field strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging curriculum using AoPS materials for small math classes.
• Actively engage students in each class or student-led learning.
• Manage classroom up to 16 students.
• Grade tests and provide feedback to students.
• Build relationships with students and families to support education.
