Job summary

Art of Problem Solving AoPS Academy in Frisco, TX is seeking a part-time Math Instructor to join our after-school program. You will teach advanced math from our curriculum to small classes, up to 16 students, and foster an engaging, student-led learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (STEM or education preferred), strong math knowledge, and experience teaching or tutoring. A teaching credential is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• STEM or education field preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.
• K-12 classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach math using company-created curriculum.
• Engage students in active, student-led learning.
• Manage up to 16 students per class.
• Grade tests and provide feedback to students.
• Build relationships with students and families.
• Inspire learning and critical thinking in math.
