Zusammenfassung

Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN program. You will mentor BSN students in person at an inpatient clinical setting in the Des Moines area, bridging classroom learning with real-world patient care on-site.

No teaching experience is required, but nurses with solid clinical experience and a completed MSN are encouraged to apply. Illinois RN license may be required for certain courses.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing is required.
• Unencumbered RN license in Iowa is required.
• Illinois RN license to teach all courses is required.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• At least two years of professional instruction experience as a registered nurse is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Teaching and Curriculum Implementation: implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Student Evaluation and Support: develop and post written clinical assignments, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and assist with remediation.
• Clinical Coordination: orient staff, maintain knowledge of site policies, and supervise clinical assignments.
• Program and College Development: contribute to program evaluation and campus policies.
• Professionalism and Collaboration: model professionalism and collaborate with staff, faculty, and students.
• Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: comply with regulatory rules, keep the course coordinator informed, and report to the dean or assistant dean.
• Handle related duties as assigned and comply with policies.
