Qualifications

• Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications for the discipline as approved by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors and defined in the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive classroom instruction to students from diverse backgrounds under the general direction of a dean.
• Plan and organize instruction according to approved course outlines and student learning outcomes.
• Observe and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams; provide timely feedback to students.
• Advise students on programs of study, transfer options, and available support services.
• Maintain current records of enrollment, attendance, and student progress; submit data and reports on time.
• May participate in curriculum development and articulation activities; may attend college and district meetings.
• May provide work direction to others as applicable.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
