Job summary

John Deere Dubuque Works in Dubuque, IA, is seeking a Part-Time Student Manufacturing Engineer to support current operations while you study. This onsite position is designed for students who work alongside school schedules year-round.

You will engage in basic troubleshooting, contribute ideas for cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomics within a limited scope, and must be a full-time student at a local university with a graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Welding Engineering; others may apply.
• Registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university.
• Graduation date Spring 2027 or later.
• GPA 2.8 or above.
• Work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year and 35-40 hours/week during the summer.
• Able to commute to the Dubuque, IA location daily.
