Job summary

John Deere in Fargo, ND seeks a Part-Time Student - Manufacturing Engineer to support cost, quality and safety improvements in an electronic controller environment. You will update line layouts in CAD and assist with factory automation and vision systems.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree, maintain a 2.8+ GPA, and can commute to the Fargo site. VISA sponsorship is not available, and the program runs year-round alongside school commitments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
• Must be registered as a full-time student and eligible for co-op / internship.
• GPA 2.8 or above and able to commute to Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement cost reductions, quality and safety improvements.
• Update line layouts in CAD and support automation programs.
• Develop and support vision systems and engineering tools.
