Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Part-Time Student in Fargo, ND for Manufacturing Engineering. This onsite role supports cost reductions, line layouts, factory automation, and vision systems while you study. VISA sponsorship is not available.

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university/college.
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement cost reductions, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope in an electronic controller manufacturing environment.
  • Update line layouts in CAD.
  • Develop and support Factory Automation programs to control assembly fixtures.
  • Develop and support vision systems.
  • Work with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As a Part Time Student - Manufacturing Engineer for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Fargo,ND , you will:

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level.
