Job summary

CAMS is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician / Custodial Worker for a large homeowners association in Kure Beach, NC 28449. The role combines light maintenance with daily cleaning to keep shared spaces welcoming for residents and guests.

The position pays $19.00 per hour for 28 hours per week, with Monday start times and on-call every other week. Excellent reliability and safety focus required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and common areas daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine maintenance like replacing bulbs, filters, painting, drywall patching.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical tasks as appropriate.
• Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal upkeep.
• Maintain and clean common areas and restrooms.
• Report issues to management and coordinate with vendors.
