CAMS, Community Association Management Company, seeks a dependable Maintenance Manager/handyman to support upkeep of all buildings and common areas in a large Myrtle Beach HOA. The role combines hands-on maintenance with daily custodial care to keep spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Position offers full-time hours, 7am–4pm, with benefits. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and prior maintenance/custodial experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic required.
• Previous maintenance, building operations or custodial experience required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and safe tool use.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and common areas daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine maintenance like lighting, painting, drywall patching, and basic repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical tasks where appropriate.
• Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal upkeep.
• Oversee cleaning vendors and ensure facilities are clean and presentable.
• Report issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upkeep.
• Maintain outdoor common areas and oversee grounds maintenance contracts.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
• Set up and organize community rooms for events.
• Follow safety procedures for all tools and chemicals.
