Job summary

Paramark Corporation in Fargo, ND is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support daily property upkeep and respond to maintenance needs under the guidance of the Property Manager. This 20-hour-per-week role offers hourly pay ranging from $24.00 to $27.00, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with power tools including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred
• Exposed to various dirt, dust, and chemicals

Responsibilities

• Accurately document work performed through electronic work order system
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.
