Job summary

Paramark Corporation is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional for our Fargo, ND team. This part-time Maintenance Technician role is a 20-hour-per-week position with an hourly wage of $24.00 to $27.00, depending on experience.

The role covers diagnosing and performing routine maintenance, documenting work, and coordinating with the Property Manager. Responsibilities include inspecting units, completing make-ready checklists, ordering parts, and ensuring safety standards and health codes

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer skills including email are required.

Responsibilities

Paramark Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Fargo, ND, as a part-time Maintenance Technician. This is a 20-hour-per-week position with an hourly wage of $24.00 to $27.00, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily
• Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
• Coordinate with the Property Manager daily
• Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Requirements

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools, including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient.
