Job summary

Paramark Corp in Fort Collins, CO seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician for about 20 hours per week at $25/hour. You will oversee daily maintenance, inspect units, document work orders, and coordinate with the Property Manager.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/plumbing/carpentry experience, strong tool skills, and a team-focused attitude. OSHA safety compliance and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient
• Be accountable and responsible
• Be able to function as a team player

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion
• Ensuring all service requests are completed daily
• Accurately documenting work performed through our electronic work order system
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
• Coordinate with the Property Manager daily
• Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities
