Job summary

Paramark Corp is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a full-time Maintenance Technician. The selected individual will provide maintenance services for two properties in Rochester, MN. This 40-hour per week position has a wage range of $28 to $32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with mechanical equipment and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily.
• Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system.
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists.
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager.
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventive maintenance or repairs.
• Complete or oversee the completion of preventive maintenance or repairs.
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory.
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors.
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager daily.
• Perform and report on all work according to safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and staff.
• Snow Removal (seasonal)

Requirements

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools, including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient.
• Be accountable and responsible.
• Be able to function as a team player
• Be available for on-call / after-hours emergency calls
