Job summary

Paramark Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Leawood, KS, as a part-time Maintenance Technician. This position is approximately 25 hours per week, with a wage range of $24 to 26 per hour.

You will oversee daily maintenance operations under the guidance of the Property Manager and Regional Manager. Tasks include diagnosing and performing routine maintenance, documenting work orders, inspecting vacated units, coordinating with vendors, and handling safety compliance

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical.
• Experience with hand tools including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient.
• Be accountable and responsible.
• Be able to function as a team player

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily.
• Accurately document work performed through the electronic work order system.
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists.
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager.
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory.
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors.
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager daily.
• Perform and report on all work according to safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities
