Job summary

PACS Group’s Desert Willow Post Acute seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for part-time, per diem support. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will perform medication administration, charting, and collaboration with the nursing team. CPR certification and PCC familiarity are preferred as you help with discharge planning and patient safety in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret nursing programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Complete and maintain accurate charting, reports, and documentation.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify resident identity.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Contribute to quality assurance and infection control efforts.
