Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants per rules and policies.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify resident identity before dosing.
• Complete accident/incident reports and maintain accurate charting/documentation.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required and update records.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys to improve care.
