Job summary

PACS is seeking an LPN/LVN supervisor to lead the nursing team in the facility. You will direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants, ensure compliance with policies, and participate in quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of resident care.

The role requires a Nursing Degree, current LPN/LVN license, and strong leadership. You will coordinate with physicians and other departments to maintain care plans and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited program.
  • Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state.
  • Ability to supervise nursing assistants and plan shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with the facility's written policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
  • Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual to reflect day-to-day nursing procedures.
  • Complete accident/incident reports as necessary and forward to the Director.
  • Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the resident’s discharge plan as necessary.
