Job summary

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, ensuring policy compliance, maintaining records, and administering medications as ordered. CPR certification and active LPN/LVN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain daily census and provide reports to the Business Office as required.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify resident identity.
