Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) part-time to join our nursing team. You will support clinical services, supervise nursing staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality direct care.

You will assist with medication management, service planning, and coordination with other health care providers, while upholding safety guidelines and company policies. Prior supervisory experience in senior living is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires current LPN license and CPR certification as required by state.
• Prefer: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Prefer: supervisory experience in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and coordinating with ancillary health care services.
• Assisting with move-in and move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Relaying resident concerns to the appropriate department manager and communicating with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
