Job summary

Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to our residents in a part-time role. The LPN will support residents’ health, safety, and well-being while working with the nursing team to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Administer medications, monitor health, supervise CNAs, assist with daily living activities, and maintain accurate records while adhering to policies, infection control, and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must meet all required health and safety requirements.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire, as provided by the facility.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions, take vital signs as needed, and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, and transfers, as needed.
• Maintain accurate resident records and complete required clinical documentation.
• Respond promptly to resident calls, emergencies, and other care needs.
• Follow infection control procedures, safety policies, and emergency protocols.
• Protect residents’ rights, privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and team members.
• Report incidents, suspected abuse, neglect, or inappropriate care promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
