Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will deliver nursing care in a supportive, home-like environment, emphasizing community and long-lasting relationships.

As an LPN, you will assess and document resident care, supervise Resident Care Assistants, and mentor team members. We offer a range of benefits including holidays, discounted meals, health programs, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident behavior.
• Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Prevent elder abuse and report appropriately.
• Respond to emergencies and know when to call for backup.
