Job summary

Sorenson Communications, CaptionCall division, is seeking a part-time installer/trainer to help customers install CaptionCall phones and train them on use in their homes. You will travel locally as needed, work flexible hours, and contribute to a mission that improves communication access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing customers.

The role emphasizes in-home service, customer care, and precise records management, with opportunities for growth within a leading language services provider.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English through reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to drive and travel via air as needed.
• Must be reliable, organized and punctual.
• Experience working with senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones in customers’ homes
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features
• Promote the CaptionCall service
• Assist with lead generation activities as needed
• Guide other CaptionCall activities and recommendations for expanding the business
• Complete service calls and maintain customer records.
