Job summary

Sorenson Communications seeks a part-time installer/trainer to enrich lives by installing CaptionCall phones in customers' homes and training users to operate the device for confident communication over the phone.

The role offers flexible hours, mileage and device reimbursements, and opportunities for growth within a leading language services provider for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Able to travel by air as needed.
• Ability to work independently in customers' homes.
• Experience working with senior citizens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones in customers' homes
• Train customers on how to use the phone and its features
• Promote the CaptionCall service
• Assist with lead generation activities as needed
• Guide other CaptionCall activities and expand the business reach
• Meet or exceed install/trainer goals set by management
• Complete service calls and maintain customer records
• Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions
• Retrieve and clean phones of former customers
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
• Represent CaptionCall at events
• Adhere to company compliance policies
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information
• Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
