Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to work part-time (2 days per week) in nursing facilities across the MetroWest/Central MA area, including Marlborough and Westborough. Opportunity for $40k+ per year, prorated based on schedule.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, one-on-one therapy, and coordination with nursing home staff. Travel to facilities is required on a daily basis as part of a mobile treatment model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health counseling from an accredited college or university.
• State professional LMHC license is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Complete psychosocial (initial) assessments.
• Provide one-on-one therapy to patients.
• Recommend behavioral/therapeutic interventions to nursing home staff.
• Conduct risk assessments as needed.
• Enter patient information and required clinical documentation in EMR system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Mobile model treatment requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
