HealthDrive is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to work part-time (2 days per week) across nursing facilities in the MetroWest/Central MA area, including Marlborough and Westborough. The role offers up to $40k+ per year, prorated based on schedule and site availability.

Responsibilities include assessments, 1-on-1 therapy, and presenting interventions to facility staff, with travel to facilities required daily.

Formación

• Master's degree in mental health counseling from an accredited college or university.
• State LMHC license.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, the internet, and to learn healthcare software.

Responsabilidades

• Provide behavioral health services to residents in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
• Complete psychosocial assessments (initial).
• Provide 1-on-1 therapy to patients.
• Recommend behavioral/therapeutic interventions to nursing home staff.
• Conduct risk assessments as needed.
• Enter patient information and clinical documentation in EMR.
• Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities as part of a mobile treatment model.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) will provide behavioral health services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions:

• Complete psychosocial (initial) assessments
• Provide 1-on-1 therapy to patients
• Recommend behavioral/therapeutic interventions to nursing home staff
• Conduct risk assessments as needed
• Enter patient information and required clinical documentation in EMR system
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university
• State professional LMHC license
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis
