Job summary

Oak View Group’s Liacouras Center in Philadelphia seeks a part-time Ticket Seller to provide friendly guest service, sell event tickets, and assist patrons at the box office. You’ll work flexible hours during events, evenings, weekends, and some weekdays, with a focus on accurate cash handling and maintaining a positive guest experience.

The role requires prior cash handling experience, strong math skills, and reliable communication.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years prior experience cash handling and strong math aptitude
• High school diploma or a GED
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the aptitude to resolve conflicts
• Effective communication skills
• Must be computer proficient and have experience with Office equipment: copier, computer/keyboard, telephone, fax and printers
• Ability to work non-standard work hours with variable schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms and use hands to reach and handle tickets, money, and receipts
• Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets to the general public
• Assist patrons at the Box Office Will-Call window and resolve issues
• Create exceptional guest experiences in a safe, clean, friendly environment
• Answer questions regarding events, tickets and schedules
• Reconcile money received
• Balance monies at end of shift with supervisor
• Assist with restocking of Box Office supplies
• Follow all operational policies and procedures for Box Office operations
• All other duties as assigned by supervisors
