Job summary

Legends Global, the world’s leading venue management company, seeks a Marketing Coordinator for Altria Theater and Dominion Energy Center in Richmond. This part-time role supports the venue marketing team across ticketed performances, premium, group, and private sales, reporting to the Director of Marketing.

The role requires strong communication, design, and CMS/email marketing skills, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 1+ year marketing experience in entertainment or related field.
• MS Office suite knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Graphic design portfolio and eye for visual composition preferred.
• Mailchimp or Hive email marketing experience preferred.
• CMS experience and creating website content preferred.
• Experience with a major market venue or media channel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out marketing efforts related to events through advertising and sales.
• Assist with event pre-sales, on-sales, and event-day needs.
• Create and manage website events for all ticketed performances.
• Create and distribute email campaigns across multiple types.
• Create Know Before You Go emails for upcoming performances.
• Create and distribute post-show patron surveys.
• Maintain community calendar entries for venue events.
• Schedule and manage venue digital signage content.
• Coordinate poster orders, installation, and removal.
• Assist Marketing Coordinator with graphic design as needed.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays.
