Job summary

Hargrove, Inc. is seeking a part-time Technician in Santa Rosa, CA to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems for events in a hospitality environment. You will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth event execution.

Responsibilities include equipment setup and breakdown, client interaction, troubleshooting, and coordinating with staff and vendors. A valid driver's license is preferred and DOT requirements may apply; lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Internal staff and external applicants must meet training and certification requirements within specified timelines.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent preferred in an educational environment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for vehicle operation.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply where relevant.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic AV equipment for events.
• Exceeds customer expectations and maintains client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinates with clients and staff; processes orders and invoicing as needed.
