Job summary

Hargrove, Inc. seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting at our Atlanta, GA site. You’ll report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and ensure flawless event delivery.

Responsibilities include equipment setup/teardown, on-site client support, and basic troubleshooting, with paperwork completed in Navigator. A High School Diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must complete required training within 60 days.
• Internal employees must meet training and certification requirements.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: set up, operate, and break down basic AV equipment for events.
• Customer Service: exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships.
• On-site presence: meet with guests to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Technical Ability: troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment/software issues.
• Systems Knowledge: follow processes, complete paperwork accurately, use equipment sheets.
• Coordination: interact with staff and vendors for equipment and scheduling.
• Upsell & Invoicing: increase revenue using floor up-selling; process invoices.
• Navigator: complete order entries in Navigator as needed.
