Catapult Learning is seeking a Part-Time Early Literacy Tutor in Worcester, MA, working Monday through Thursday from 1:45pm to 2:15pm at partner schools. You will deliver contracted instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing using our proven curriculum, with you acting as advocate, mentor, and guide for students.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree (or higher) or at least two years of study (48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
• Licensed tutors: MA-licensed teachers.
• Must complete FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate progress with parents.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods using company materials.
• Attend training and implement instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing.
• Develop individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise students during sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files as required.
• Attend meetings with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
