Job summary

Catapult Learning in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a part-time Early Literacy Tutor to provide targeted instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics. You will work with students using our structured curriculum and collaborate with school personnel to support progress and attendance.

The role emphasizes advocacy, mentorship, and the ability to engage families. Flexible, part-time options align with school schedules and student needs across K-12 settings.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors must have an associate degree (or at least two years of college).
• Licensed tutors must hold MA state credentials recognized by MA.
• Background check (FBI/BCI) is required.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address learning skill deficits using prescribed instructional methods.
• Coordinate with school personnel to support students.
• Communicate student progress with parents or guardians.
• Deliver instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training and implement designated instructional models in reading, math, and/or writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans aligned to student needs.
• Ensure student supervision and safe transport to sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files per Company and regulatory requirements.
• Attend meetings with Supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents as required.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
