The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and leadership to supervise staff as needed. A culinary background is preferred and dedication to quality cuisine is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary Arts training preferred; knowledge of dietary procedures and guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely (meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer cabinets).
• Establishes and maintains food production line to ensure timely meals.
• Represents the community with a positive attitude when interacting with residents and families.
• Prepares and serves nutritious, high-quality, flavorful meals.
