Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a part-time Cook to join our team. As a Benchmark cook, your main role will be to make a difference in the lives of our residents by providing delicious and healthy meals.

You will prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, with Benchmark policies and procedures. The Food Services Director will oversee duties to ensure quality food service at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws and guidelines for food service.
• Leadership ability and teamwork with staff.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Establish food production line to ensure timely meals.
• Represent the community with a positive attitude with residents and families.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals with high-quality presentation.
