Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Putnam Farms, Danvers, MA is seeking a Part-Time Cook to prepare delicious, healthy meals for residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and Benchmark policies. The Food Services Director oversees these duties to ensure quality service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of dietary experience, and culinary training preferred. This role offers stable hours and a supportive team environment within a senior living

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience required.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and related regulations essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (meat slicer, ovens, grills, steamers, etc.).
• Assist in establishing food production lines to meet meal times.
• Represent the community with a positive attitude when interacting with residents and families.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals with high quality presentation.
