Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of previous food experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recipes.
• Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare a variety of foods, meat, poultry, vegetables, and other hot items.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
• Cover, date, and properly store all pieces and prep items.
• Use food preparation tools safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Return dirty utensils to the appropriate areas and maintain a clean station.
• Open/Close kitchen correctly and follow the kitchen checklist.
• Follow instructions from the Culinary Manager.
