Candidates must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, be at least 15, meet HealthFitness fitness standards, and work well in a team to ensure a positive experience for swimmers of all ages.

Qualifications

• Meet HealthFitness fitness and skill standards.
• Be dependable, attentive, and ready to work as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude and strong people skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patrons of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Keep swimmers safe by actively monitoring the pool and surrounding aquatic areas.
• Help maintain a welcoming environment by explaining and enforcing pool rules.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
• Perform routine pool chemical testing to help maintain safe water conditions.
• Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service to patrons of all ages.
• Support the aquatics team with additional duties as needed.
