Burnet County’s Bertram Library seeks a part-time Library Tech to support daily library functions, including children's programs, customer service, and basic operations. 25–29 hours weekly, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm and Sat 10am–3pm, with schedule adjustments for holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; library experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to assist patrons.
• Ability to operate Windows/Microsoft systems and office equipment.
• Willingness to learn new technology and adapt to library tools and processes.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with library materials, services, and technology.
• Plan and present weekly children's story time programs for various ages.
• Plan and run Summer Reading Program for 250–300 children.
• Maintain check-in/out operations and shelve materials.
• Troubleshoot basic technology issues and maintain records.
