Job summary

Burnet County's Bertram Library is seeking a Part-Time Library Tech to support daily operations, assist patrons, and run children's programs. The role covers circulation, shelving, and basic technology support.

The position requires a high school diploma and library experience is preferred. Schedule is 25–29 hours weekly, with hours Mon–Fri 9am–5pm and Sat 10am–3pm, subject to change during holidays and library needs.

Qualifications

• Requires customer service experience and ability to assist patrons.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with library materials, services and technology.
• Plan and present weekly children’s story time programs.
• Lead a Summer Reading Program for 250–300 children.
• Operate circulation and daily library operations.
• Shelve and organize materials; maintain records.
• Troubleshoot basic technology problems as needed.
