Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience with library management systems (Destiny) is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend written/graphic instructions and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with students and staff in an educational setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Duties include instruction, supervision, management, and programming in the Library Media Center.
• Organize and reshelve returned items.
• Manage materials using Destiny and other library tools.
• Attend district trainings related to library services.
• Follow DCSD policies.
• Manage interlibrary loans between DCSD libraries.
• Support teachers and students in information literacy and reading initiatives.
• Provide customer service and maintain a clean and organized library environment.
